Angel Billabong is a natural cliff-top pool where rainwater and seawater collect into a clear, mineral-coloured basin. It became famous on Instagram as the "infinity pool that drops into the ocean", and the photo angle still draws daily crowds.
Swimming inside the pool used to be popular, but local authorities now discourage it — sudden waves can sweep visitors out to sea. Still, the photo from above is one of the most distinctive in Nusa Penida.
Angel Billabong is right next to Broken Beach, so both are usually visited as a single stop on our West Trip and Mix Trip itineraries.
