Crystal Bay is the gentle face of Nusa Penida. The bay is wide and shallow near shore, the water is clear enough to see fish without snorkelling, and rows of coconut trees provide natural shade. It is the only beach where small children can play comfortably.
The bay is also the launch point for snorkeling boats heading to Manta Bay and Gamat Bay. If you stay until sunset, the beach faces directly into the western horizon, framed by the silhouette of the offshore island Nusa Lembongan.
